This could be the last flip flop post

Cue the music.
DEMOCRATIC presidential candidate John Kerry, who has warned of deepening chaos in Iraq, said today he would not send additional US troopseven if turmoil persists into next year.
The same article ends with the following quote that Kerry made back in April.

"If it requires more troops in order to create the stability that eliminatesthe chaos that can provide the groundwork for other countries, that's what we have to do,"

One would have to reasonably assume that he's staked out his positions on Iraq for good now. Which, for me, is a good thing since I'm getting pretty sick of putting up flip flop posts, it was fun for awhile but now it's just become automatic.

....and not to mention boring.

Oh, one last thing. I think I know one of the reasons behind the recent flip on the troops; scaring the shit out of the younger MTV viewing, hippie tree hugging, anti military types. (login required for that last link: bugmenot)

UPDATE: Seems there's more to the fear mongering about the draft than I joked about earlier. It's a hoax email, and who knows where it started but it adds to my belief that the left (including Kerry now that he's brought it up) has nothing left to do but scare people into voting for him. Why in the hell else would you point towards a bill (HR-163) sponsored by a fellow Democrat and cosponsored by 14 other Democrats. Someones attempting to get a draft going, but it's not Bush; it's Kerry's own party.
